Biography

Nicolas Fressengeas is Full Professor in the university of Lorraine in France and head of its Photonic Systems and Optical Materials laboratory (LMOPS). His research interests range from non linear optics to optical materials. He has published 42 papers in internationally peer reviewed journals, and contributed to more than a hundred conferences. He is teaching in his university, as well as in the Lorraine campus of GeorgiaTech and in CentraleSupélec from the Paris-Saclay university. He is also involved in Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, seeking to adapt teaching habits to changing technology and people.
