Biography

Prof. Arup Neogi has published more than 180 SCI papers, total citations are more than two thousand times and the highest paper even reaches 100 times; He has obtained 2 American invention patents in the field of quantum information processing. Prof. Arup Neogi has been the chair of Japan Society for Promotion of Sciences since 2006 and invited for presentation including "laser induced photon scattering synergistic effect" in University of Tokyo, "nano semiconductor materials for nonlinear optical devices in the application of biological USA" in Japan Women's University and "nano optoelectronic biological image processing technology" in Argonne National Laboratory. Due to numerous academic achivements in corresponding scientific field, he was elected as a member of the French Association of optoelectronic materials in 2001 . Prof. Arup Neogi is now the reviewer of first-class journals including Nature Photonics, Journal of Institute of physics, the Institute of physics USA. He has obtained Japan's University of Tokyo Scholar Award, MRS global GOE in molecular electronics Trophy award and others. In addition, he has undertaken America NIH funding, American National Science Foundation (NSF) and projects of American Department of Defense (DOD) in last five years, his research works have been highly reported by American, Europe and other international medias as well.
